Hi there! I’m Sydney, the assistant editor for the Steamboat Pilot & Today in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. With a knack for storytelling and a strong background in public relations, editorial design and advertising, I thrive in crafting engaging narratives that connect audiences to meaningful messages.

Originally from Stuttgart, Germany, I earned my B.A. in journalism and media communication from Colorado State University with a minor in business and a certificate in entrepreneurship. My work blends creativity with strategy, through video, photography, writing, design or a mix of all four! My studies and personal projects have deepened my understanding of how multimedia, branding and strategic communication intersect to drive impactful storytelling. 

I’m always seeking opportunities to share unique stories. I love answering creative challenges with innovative problem-solving and take pride in producing content that is both visually compelling and strategically effective.
